The team needs to update the scopes of a committed sprint at the beginning of each sprint, and clean the board at the end of every sprint. Preparation of scrum board is a one-time activity, mainly the skeleton of the board.
For example, one could assign an UML use-case diagram to a user story object or an application system diagram to a task to describe the intended application setup. This gives them more freedom, because they can assign additional diagrams to each task. I also created some fragments for the different states of the tasks so that I don't have to do the formatting of tasks again and again.
